weather
Paragliding is weather-dependent. Despite our best efforts, we cannot guarantee the weather and therefore cannot guarantee the quantity of flyable days within our courses. If the weather dictates that it is not safe to fly, the course fee will not be refunded.
insurance
You must also hold valid travel insurance covering the following:
- Adventure activities specifically including solo paragliding
- Medical costs while travelling and in the event of any incident or accident while paragliding
- Medical evacuation & repatriation
- Paragliding search and rescue
- Trip cancellation & delays
You should do this now in case you need to cancel after the 14 day cooling off period.
code of conduct
To ensure a safe and enjoyable trip for everyone, we expect participants to:
- Respect local communities, cultures, and the environment
- Follow the guidance of instructors and trip leaders
- Refrain from reckless or unsafe flying behaviour
- Maintain a positive attitude and support fellow pilots
- Be current. This means having recent, relevant experience on the specific wing and kit you intend to fly.
We reserve the right to remove any participant from the trip without a refund if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disrespectful, or disruptive to the group.
Eligibility
Our trips are only open to qualified pilots who are at least BHPA CP rated or equivalent. You must hold third party liability insurance for paragliding. This is included for UK residents in your BHPA membership.
We may also state additional minimum skill and experience levels, depending on the trip.
You must be medically fit and reasonably active. If in doubt, consult your GP. You should let us know of any pre-existing medical conditions which may affect your activity, but ultimately, it is up to you to decide on your own capabilities.
